Several cards lay messily on top of a wooden table as furious scribbling is heard. Aero glares at the piece of paper that has a lot of words that are scratched out in different parts of the paper. With a frustrated sigh, she crumbles the paper and throws it in a waste basket, covering her face with her hands. Upset that she can't write a decent paragraph to her friends, Aero remains in that position, different ideas and questions running through her mind. What should she do? Christmas is just a couple of days away and she can't even think of what to write. It has been weeks since she last wrote anything and this writers block isn't exactly helping either. Another sigh escape her lips as she removes her hands from her face and leans her right cheek against her right fist while letting her eyes browse through the library. Its dark and gloomy with different stack of books on each shelve, but comforting to her since no one really visits here in this castle. Brennenburg to be exact. No monsters stumble to this place. This is like her sacred ground of sorts.
"Sacred, huh...?" a questionable tone rolls off her tongue as she leans against her chair while glancing up, day dreaming about what to write.
Stories. Flying. Dreams. Those are the main categories of what's going through her mind right now. Aero's heart beats quickly in her chest, eyes glowing with life and wonder as different emotions swirl in her blue pupils. Lips start widening with enthusiasm as she leans forward again while picking up a feather quill, dips it in some ink, and begins writing on a new piece of paper.
Merry Christmas! I hope you have a great one! Now, there is a reason why I'm writing this letter to you instead of just handing a regular card to you. I just want to say... Thank you. Thank you for being a wonderful person and being a great friend. Even if you don't know me too well or maybe you do. Who knows. Hehe~ Meeting you and being your friend has always been a great joy to me. I always smile whenever I speak or see you. I always have an awesome time whenever I hang out with you.
Those were the days when I didn't have a job. Its hard really. To spend time with you when I'm busy with work on the weekdays. Its not easy, but at least I try to find the time to find and speak with you. Even if its a small chat. Anyway, thank you for being there for me when I needed to speak with someone about my day and such.
Thank you for being you. Merry Christmas.
Aero giggles excitedly as she starts writing the same thing on more paper. With the help of the fire that illuminates the small area around her, she gets done quickly before putting the cards and letters in each envelope. Aero writes different names on each envelope and then gets up to deliver them. She takes a deep breath before she gently blows against the flame. The flame dissipates and she is surrounded by darkness. However, that doesn't sway her as footsteps echo in the library before a creaking door opens to invite more light coming from the hallway. Looking behind her, she smiles as she squeezes the bundle of envelopes against her chest before closing the door and went on her way.
